Nice ride!
My Father passed away 3 years ago and I acquired his corvette 1 1/2 years ago. It's also a 1981 he's owned it since '82 two-tone cream on top and burgandy on lower half; and has 41,800 miles on it. It's had issues before his passing and I've been working on it in my spare time. Just about road worthy, waiting for an ECM via snail mail due in this Friday.
If you run into any issues and need help trouble shooting feel free to howler. I do recommend getting a copy of Corvette 1966-1982 Shop manual, purchased from zip-corvette.com it's been invaluable on many occasions.
