Thanks for the welcome guys, I am glad to be here. Thats my 71 Corvette. As you can see we through stock out the window years ago. We put an Ecklers Monza tilt hood on with one modification, we filled in the headlights and relocated them behind the grill. The hood is hooked up with door poppers so we can pop it open with a remote(no hood pins). The paint is a blue pearl over the white and the stripe is 5 shades of Kandy. The mural of the Castle was done in Fl by Flordia street dreams and gives the car its nickname Castle in the Clouds. The interior is done in blue velvet diamond tuck all over. We are in the process of looking into redoing it in two tone leather. The engine is a 377 destroked with dual carbs, true roller rockers and a bunch of other goodies.The last dyno we did on it, it was putting out to the tune of 503 horses. You put your foot down a little too hard with that set up and a rock crusher 4 speed and the front end wants to come up off the ground.( the wife doesn't like that at all !!) I have taken a lot off the forum and hope I can give something back.
