I purchased my 2008 C6 Vette in 2011 with just 3000 miles on it. It was my Christmas gift to me and being a single dad to a wonderfull 11 year old son Antonio and car lover also. I always talked about owning a Corvette but it was out of reach me being retired and raising a son on my own. Back in the day I drove a Sunbeam Tiger a poor mans Cobra and won my first race at an airport course called a gymcanna.I loved the sound of the engine roar. Well half million miles or so. I'm back I searched the internet and found just what I was looking for 20 miles from my home and the car dealer said I can take it home within the hour, So I drove it to my sons school that day to pick him up as I do everyday ,was he in for a surprize. We walked to where I usually parked which was far away from the driving mothers from hell.As we walked towards the Blade Silver Corvette, Black Leather Interior, 6speed auto,paddle shift, removable hard top,and removable translucent top. Oh yea back to school we walked toward the Vette and we mentioned how nice it was so I said lets look a little closer and as I reached for the door my son said DAD! what are you doing I said we are taking it its ours well his eyes wide and a smile from ear to ear his friends said WOW. Back to me This baby sreaeems ! I LOVE IT I only had it up to 125mpr but I live in jersey and keeping my record clean is a must. My friends say Im living the dream I say yes.
